Paper

Sugarcane paper

Bagasse is the fibrous residue left after extracting sugarcane juice. This sustainable alternative to conventional paper makes use of a by-product of the sugar industry, reducing the need to cut trees for paper production. It is biodegradable and compostable.

Every notebook and journal made in the workshop uses unbleached bagasse paper. It retains its natural warm cream colour and pleasant texture, making it a versatile paper for writing, drawing and printing.

AppleLeather — Vegan Leather

Apple Leather is an innovative vegan alternative to traditional leather, made from waste generated by the apple industry. Produced from peel and cores discarded during juice production, it has a soft texture and a leather-like appearance. Its production reduces waste and uses less water and energy than conventional leather, offering an elegant and responsible vegan option in a wide range of colours.

Arte

Ebru Marbled Journal

Ebru, also known as marbling, is an ancient art from Turkey and Persia. Floating pigments are carefully worked on thickened water to create fluid patterns that are then transferred to cloth. Every design is unrepeatable, with colourful veins and swirls that recall natural marble and give our most special journals a sophisticated artistic touch.
